Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo is aiming to perform well in his next two home games to qualify. After the 1-0 defeat to Vitesse last game.

“Spurs” could not collect more points in the third match. In the Europa Conference League group stage after being dropped 1-0 by Vitesse in the Netherlands. 

The Portuguese coach said after the game that “It’s a difficult game against a good team. There were moments where we did well but we had to learn some details.”

“We could have done more attacking and should have finished. We have many situations where we can do better. Goals conceded by a foul.”

“The Europa Conference League is like this. There are always hard times. We have two games at home which I believe will help us get through the group stage.” 

The defeat leaves Spurs third in the group with four points, three and two behind Rennes and Vitesse respectively, with two home games against Vitesse and Rae. Another away game is invasion of Moura, a team in the Slovenian League.
